Biosketch:

Dr. Temitope Feyisayo ASEKUN-OLARINMOYE, is currently a lecturer and Examination Officer in the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, Osun State University, Osogbo. She has a B.Sc. degree (First Class Honours) from Babcock University, Ogun State, a MPH degree (Health Promotion and Education) from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State and a PhD degree (Reproductive and Family Health) from Adeleke University, Osun. She is a recipient of the prestigious grant award from the RSTMH- Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, United Kingdom (2022), and also the Best Graduating Postgraduate Student in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Adeleke University (2022). Her previous work engagements include serving as a Consultant for National/State Health Projects on COVID-19, Yellow Fever and Malaria Mitigation/Elimination efforts, coordinated by the State of Osun Primary Health Care Development Board in conjunction with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, CRS and others. She has published in both home-based and internationally reputable peer-reviewed journals and books; having also co-authored a monograph titled, “An Overview of Female Sexual Dysfunction”. Her research interests lie in behavioural change interventions, reproductive health and gender/sexuality issues among special groups such as children, adolescents, women, aged and handicapped.
