Biosketch:

Abideen Akinkunmi WAHAB holds an NCE in Biology/Chemistry (1996) from OSSCE, Ila-Orangun. He holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Microbiology from Usman Dan Fodiyo University and University of Ilorin in 2000 and 2011 respectively. He obtained his Ph.D in Microbiology with option on Environmental Biotechnology from the University of Malaysia, Sarawak, Malaysia. He is a Senior  lecturer  in the Department of Microbiology. He has served in different administrative capacities such as Departmental examination officer, staff adviser to students’ association, examination and seminar coordinator, the Departmental coordinator of part-time Microbiology programme and currently, Acting Head, Microbiology.  He has TETFUND Institutional Research Grant to his credit. He is a Uniosun Special Doctoral Scholar.

He has about 19 scholastic publications in local and international Journals. He has supervised undergraduate projects both home and abroad, and has attended and presented papers in various local and international Conferences and Workshops
